Your role and responsibilities

A Business Technology Leader in Client Engineering is a leader, networker, advisor, and inspirer. With advanced knowledge of your industry and deep appreciation of your clients' business challenges, you'll be a trusted advisor and catalyst for client engagements and bring together multi-skilled sales and technical specialists to deliver them.

  • Stay at the forefront of essential business, industry, and technology knowledge and apply contemporary thought leadership to client solutions in areas such as hybrid cloud, data and AI, security, storage, and IT architecture.
  • Discover client’s most pressing pain points with measurable business outcomes.
  • Define and communicate the unique value of IBM’s technology, both technically and commercially.
  • Collaborate with other teams within IBM, participate in client sessions and take ownership of engagement close-out processes and ensure smooth hand-offs.
  • Work with deployment teams to transition platform assets and information to provide seamless transitions for our clients.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Demonstrated people, communication, and collaboration skills with a documented record of executive-level networking.
  • Ability to translate problem statement / challenges / high-level requirements into detailed documentation within the organization's context.
  • Able to evaluate and analyze existing business processes and uncover areas for improvements and subsequently define of business values and value proposition.
  • Understanding and practical application of Agile best practices.
  • Conduct briefings to internal partners, senior management, and external partners and clients, conveying technical matters in a digestible manner to non-technical audiences when needed.

Additional requirements:

  • You will have completed your tertiary studies by March 2025 OR have graduated from a Singaporean University no earlier than 2023.
  • You are an Singaporean Citizen/Permanent Resident.
    You studied a technical degree i.e., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent subject.
  • You will have excellent communication and presentation skills that are equally engaging, compelling, and influential.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Hands-on experience in Information Technology – AI, coding, Automation, Cloud and so on.
  • Skilled in business analysis techniques such as flow charting, requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis, use cases, brainstorming, solution prototyping, and traceability.
