Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
OR equivalent experience.
People management experience.
Strong architecture skills in distributed systems and a great appetite for learning the foundational blocks of the Azure platform with detail- and results-oriented, with demonstrated experience managing complex design and delivery of cloud services.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

In depth knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms.
Experience architecting or implementing mission critical, distributed systems.
Experience recruiting and retaining world-class engineering talent.
Responsibilities
Build, train, and lead a team of technical program managers focused on defining and building foundational services and automation for the Azure Platform.
Partner with software engineers to deliver core capabilities that enable Azure Platform to be best of class in data center build out efficiency and data governance.
Work in a fast-paced technical environment with engineering leaders across Microsoft.
Provide hands-on program management during various phases of our projects including day-to-day contributions as part of agile development practices.
Define and own key metrics and key quality and performance indicators.
