As ahere at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving procurement of materials and services in alignment with business leadership. You will be responsible for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve the lowest total cost, reduced working capital, and ensure supply continuity. This role requires strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic global environment. You will work out of our Lugoj, Romania location on a Hybrid work schedule (3+2).

• Deploy lean techniques tosupport our make-to-order manufacturing operation and achieve productivity,delivery, and supplier quality targets
• Align our supplier strategywith European and global commodity strategies, ensuring compliance withapproved sourcing policies and procedures
• Support our New ProductIntroduction (NPI) activities and periodic product lifecycle reviews to ensureoptimization of our product portfolio, components, and supply base
• Contribute to defining,documenting, and continuously improving our sourcing processes, as well asparticipating in cross-functional collaboration to improve wider businessprocesses
• Drive year-over-yearsite-specific supplier agreement negotiations, optimize payables and inventoryto reduce working capital, and identify component and value engineeringopportunities with Engineering and Integrated Supply Chain

Key skills and qualifications:

• Degree, CIPS qualified or equivalent professional qualification ideally
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead small projects effectively, coordinating tasks and objectives across multiple functions
• Proficient in purchasing, negotiation, and contract administration with a strong understanding of sourcing dynamics and market constraints
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in purchasing or supply chain management
• Responsible for overseeing the transition process, integrating input from engineering and involving production teams
• Proficient in English and Data analytics tools such as (Excel, PowerPoint), SAP is desirable
