• Develop and execute Plastics and Packaging category strategies leveraging best-in-class suppliers, processes and products to enable a competitive advantage to IA/BA business in Europe
• Partner with COE category sourcing partners and IA/BA cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution for Europe
• Consolidate fragmented IA/BA Mechanical spend in Europe, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move the procurement activities upstream in the lifecycle of a solution to bring greater value to Honeywell
• Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery and supply continuity
• Identify and select approved suppliers capable of providing solutions that meet established business requirements and follow the global commodity strategies
• Engage in new product development to drive business award to preferred suppliers and support the launch schedule and target cost
• Facilitate engagement across IA/BA business and functions to drive a singular approach to supplier management in assigned Mechanical commodity space
• Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers to maximize benefit to Honeywell
• Build strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product and cost improvements with supply base
• Support the refresh of Mechanical COEs and IA/BA sourcing AOPs and strategic plans
• Drive world-class performance from supply base
• Assembling all project stakeholders for driving best decision-making action (kickoff meeting/feasibility phase/gate checking)
• Work with Category COE and IA/BA sourcing and procurement teams in Europe to achieve lowest total cost, continuous quality improvement, and on-time delivery
• Work with global commodity leaders to assure a coordinated commodity strategy exists across the enterprise in Europe
• Ensure global policy compliance

• Leverage Mechanical spend (volume) across Honeywell IA/BA in Europe to drive year-over-year savings
• Drive supplier rationalization to preferred / best-in-class suppliers, lead supplier business reviews and manage supplier relationship
• Complete and manage supplier contracts and multi-year agreements
• Optimize working capital for the organization
• Secure supply by partnering with suppliers and IA/BA stakeholders to support demand and business growth
• Improve overall operational service levels to the business

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, orBusiness
• At least 6 years of work experience in strategic sourcingand leading successful supplier negotiations
• Experience in sourcing Mechanical commodities for Plasticsand Packaging
• Working and/or Leading in Site Team Environments
• Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
• Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
• Team Leader experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business - a plus
• Demonstrated Business and financial acumen
• Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
• Masters Degree - would represent a plus
