About this role:
Corporate Risk roles depend on a variety of skills, including: Data analysis and synthesis, root cause analysis, change management, process management & execution, risk governance, risk strategy, risk identification & assessment, risk prevention, controls & mitigation, risk monitoring, reporting & escalation, risk systems & technology.
This position will be responsible for data management leadership for general ledger data in the CRIT data platforms. Your leadership skills are essential to managing deadlines, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continued enhancement of credit risk data. Strong partnership skills are needed to foster and facilitate relationships with colleagues across multiple locations to provide an integrated and comprehensive picture of the bank’s credit risk.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives related to business analysis and modeling, including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as key participant in data aggregation, monitoring, ensuring accurate general ledger data for all CRIT data consumers.
Partner with Finance and other lines of business to ensure all data updates and changes are understood and managed through the product lifecycle to ensure data accuracy for all general ledger data consumers.
Partner with technology teams as the general ledger lead ensuring the accurate delivery of data to consumers.
Make decisions in complex product strategies, data modeling, and risk exposure, requiring solid understanding of business unit projects and regulatory responses, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and drive new initiatives.
Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues, and achieve risk analysts, and common modeling goals
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
5+ years of SQL/SAS programming experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Proficient in the use and understanding of Core GL Tools (i.e., Essbase, IRISWeb, FYD and DRM).
Effectively solution GL use case requests/inquiries leveraging Line of Business Org structures, Chart of Accounts, Regulatory Account Mapping and WFC’s legal hierarchy structure.
Working knowledge of SOR to GL reconciliation challenges.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and with sound business judgment; ability to interpret analytical problems and create efficient data driven solutions.
Result orientated to deliver, self-motivated to learn and to influence. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
Ability to research, trend, and analyze data. Ability to lead project and coach junior team members.
Ability to develop effective partnership in a team environment across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.

Job Expectations:
Provide leadership in the general ledger data team on all GL related projects.
Provide data support, research, analysis, and validation of monthly GL data load processes.
Provide leadership and recommendations on improving existing data management operational processes (i.e., monthly data attestation).
Collaborate with larger CRIT team and technology partners in the data migration to our Next Gen data platform.
This position currently offers a hybrid work schedule.
