• Cash Collection and Reconciliation: Take charge in supporting the team on critical accounts (high revenue impact and/or escalated accounts), ensuring accuracy and resolution timeliness.
• Financial Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of financial regulations and policies while collecting and managing cash. Ensure all transactions adhere to legal requirements and ethical practices.
• Account Management : Oversee the financial health of assigned segment accounts. Maintain accurate records, update account information, and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders, contributing to transparent financial management.
• Customer Relations : Engage in professional and courteous communication to address inquiries, resolve issues, and build positive relationships, reflecting the government's commitment to exceptional service. Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of accounts by use of the department policy and procedures
• Data Analysis : Utilize your analytical skills to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks within cash collection processes. Collaborate with financial analysts to make informed decisions and improve operational efficiency.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance cash collection procedures. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and expedite transactions, contributing to smoother financial operations.
• Reporting and Documentation : Prepare clear and concise financial reports for management and regulatory bodies. Maintain organized documentation that supports financial audits and compliance checks.
• Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
• Participate in cross function projects as needed
