The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations leads Snowflake’s Marketing Operations team, driving the development and implementation of processes, technology, and data strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing technology, data analysis, and process optimization, having led similar teams at high growth B2B software companies.

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU:
  • Have 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, including 4+ years of leadership experience
  • Possess deep expertise in top-of-funnel strategies and processes that fuel conversion and meaningful pipeline growth
  • Have defined and deployed privacy and consent management procedures to maintain compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA
  • Understand how IT, sales, finance, marketing, and sales development interweave with each other from a planning perspective
  • Can prove your ability to translate data into meaningful insights that drive business outcomes
  • Can demonstrate your experience defining and delivering on global project plans, partnering with cross-functional and executive stakeholders
  • Understand how to translate business process and policies into meaningful documentation
  • Possess proficiency and familiarity with the following systems:
    • Salesforce Sales Cloud administration, reporting & dashboarding
    • Marketo marketing automation
    • Outreach sales engagement administration
    • Snowflake
    • LeanData lead routing
    • ZoomInfo and other best-in-class data providers
    • Demandbase
    • Workato

Marketing Technology and Data Management

  • Guide the development of the marketing technology stack, ensuring seamless integration, operation, and optimization of software such as Salesforce, Marketo, Demandbase, and others
  • Audit and enhance marketing’s data strategy to manage lead lists, data enrichment, and form handling across all channels. Ensure data integrity and accessibility across marketing functions.
  • Work with Marketing Intelligence to create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance.

Process Optimization and Operational Efficiency

  • Optimize the campaign response-to-MQL process, collaborating with SDR, sales, and marketing teams to enhance lead management, routing, scoring, and nurturing.
  • Define and guide the end-to-end operations of Snowflake’s marketing email strategy.
  • Direct A/B testing efforts to identify and implement best practices, driving continuous improvement in marketing tactics and strategies across teams and geographies.

Strategic Planning and Budget Management

  • Manage the marketing operations budget and technology renewals, aligning resources with strategic goals and ensuring efficient use of funds.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance against targets, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Align the marketing organization’s annual and quarterly targets with Snowflake’s sales organization, in partnership with Marketing Intelligence

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing global marketing operations team based on
  • Direct the development and delivery of training programs to ensure the marketing team is proficient in using marketing technologies and processes.
  • Manage change effectively, communicating and aligning on operational changes and new initiatives across the marketing organization

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $241,500.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
