Support prospective customers to identify best commercial and technical fit of Tesla’s battery systems by creating and defining the business case
Collaborate closely with Senior Sales Engineers to complete the financial and preliminary site design for customers
Work with the customer and sales team to negotiate technical contracts
Understand regional energy markets and utilities, define, and disseminate functional requirements with internal business and engineering colleagues
Cooperate with the sales team to evaluate new market segments and perform analysis of storage potential.
Participate in on-going proceedings related to tariffs and market mechanisms to inform / update modelling processes.
Evaluate integration context for battery systems and work with internal team members to make integration recommendations
Maintain responsible control over preliminary design activities pertaining to the opportunity/ project, including engineering, quality control, and code compliance
What You’ll Bring
1+ yearrelevant technical work experience in consulting, sales engineering, or similarfields within the energy industry. Experience within the renewable energysector is a plus
Knowledgeof battery systems, power conversion and grid systems
Stronganalytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions
Capabilityto communicate effectively and collaborate with internal- and externalstakeholders
Able toreview contracts and technical scopes of work
Customer-focusedand capable of breaking down complex engineering ideas for customers
Affinitywith the renewable energy sector and a passion to learn
Fluency inEnglish. , German or Dutch language skills are considered a plus
