What You’ll Do
  • Support prospective customers to identify best commercial and technical fit of Tesla’s battery systems by creating and defining the business case
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Sales Engineers to complete the financial and preliminary site design for customers
  • Work with the customer and sales team to negotiate technical contracts
  • Understand regional energy markets and utilities, define, and disseminate functional requirements with internal business and engineering colleagues
  • Cooperate with the sales team to evaluate new market segments and perform analysis of storage potential.
  • Participate in on-going proceedings related to tariffs and market mechanisms to inform / update modelling processes.
  • Evaluate integration context for battery systems and work with internal team members to make integration recommendations
  • Maintain responsible control over preliminary design activities pertaining to the opportunity/ project, including engineering, quality control, and code compliance
What You’ll Bring
  • 1+ yearrelevant technical work experience in consulting, sales engineering, or similarfields within the energy industry. Experience within the renewable energysector is a plus
  • Knowledgeof battery systems, power conversion and grid systems
  • Stronganalytical skills with the ability to problem solve to well-judged decisions
  • Capabilityto communicate effectively and collaborate with internal- and externalstakeholders
  • Able toreview contracts and technical scopes of work
  • Customer-focusedand capable of breaking down complex engineering ideas for customers
  • Affinitywith the renewable energy sector and a passion to learn
  • Fluency inEnglish. , German or Dutch language skills are considered a plus
