Responsibilities include Capital Markets Industry partner pipeline management, contributing to the financial services Capital Markets partner ecosystem strategy, managing strategic relationships with influential ISV/consulting firms/SIs, and driving C-level, marketing, field and channel relationships.You will possess the deep Capital Markets industry background and consulting/sales experience that enables you to engage at the CXO level with Insurance Industry customers and partners, and easily interact with partners, enterprise customers and sales/field reps.You have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, in complex situations. The position also requires a strong technical acumen, along with working knowledge of the financial services Capital Markets Sector consulting services landscape.Key job responsibilities
Develop and drive a strategy to build and grow a regional ecosystem of financial services Capital Markets partners in the Americas.
• Work with new and existing strategic partners to expand AWS FS practice by building offerings and solutions.
• Set a strategic business plan with each partner for target markets and ensure it's in line with the AWS strategic direction.
• Work with partners to define and execute joint practice, sales and Go to Market (GTM) programs.
• Serve as a key member of the Americas Financial Services Industry team in helping to deliver the overall financial services partner strategy.
• Engage the partner’s field sales organization, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS.
• Set and manage revenue targets and work with the partner and AWS sales organizations to achieve/exceed goals.
• Execute the strategic business plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. business development and partner teams, marketing, PR, legal, support, etc.)
• Work with AWS marketing to include partners in relevant campaigns and promotional opportunities.
• Develop and drive promotions, funding benefits, and incentives as appropriate.
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
