Qualifications
- MS/PhD in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Mathematic, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field with 2+ years working experience in data analytics or data science related role. Or bachelor’s degree in same fields with 4+ years working experience
- Proficient in SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel, working knowledge of A/B testing is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiar with statistical modeling, loss forecasting, and collections. Having working knowledge of the fundamentals of payment processing and an understanding of industry fraud and risk trends is a plus
- Have a track record of diving into data and drive data insights for business needs both quantitatively and qualitatively
- Passion for analyzing data and an insatiable curiosity to understand complex business issues and proactively looking for business opportunities and drive new innovations
- Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
- Able to work in a fast-paced working environment, multitask, balancing short & long term strategic implications to meet or exceed business objectives
