The role of trainee Team Lead is similar to the team lead role. As a (trainee) Team Lead you will cover the same responsibilities but still be learning on the job. During this period, you will be accompanied by an experienced team lead, receive coaching and attend several courses to develop your leadership skills. There will be several evaluation moments to see if the trainee is still on track in reaching his goals. When reaching all of the goals the trainee will grow into a full team lead role.
⦁ Monitoring compliance with work instructions and work processes.
⦁ Optimal deployment of people as well as supplies based on own knowledge and real-time work offer during the shift.
⦁ Signaling and reporting malfunctions to the Line Facilitator / Maintenance department. Discussing issues with the Supervisor in order to structurally solve malfunctions and other problems during the shift.
⦁ Based on the core metrics; continuous improvement of the workplace and -processes in consultation with the Supervisor.
⦁ Where appropriate, co-conducting PDC conversations in close coordination with Supervisor and providing him/her with input on employee performance.
⦁ Emergency response officer and Emergency response lead during the assigned shift.
⦁ During your traineeship start and finish at least an MBO 3 logistics study.
⦁ Attend to leadership courses
⦁ Experience gained in a warehouse/distribution center or other logistics work environments.
⦁ Good knowledge of and experience with SAP, Word, Excel and Power Point.
⦁ Being able to lead small improvement projects using the BSCI lean essential tools.
⦁ Available for two shifts.
⦁ Good communication skills, spoken and written, in Dutch and English.
