As the Logistics Analyst II you will analyze and coordinate the logistical functions, including, relevant export documentation such as but not limited to; copy of ocean bill of lading or airway bill, packing lists, delivery orders, cargo clearance documentation, etc. You will also review all documentation for discrepancies and updates accordingly. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate daily activities to track location and movement of goods, ensuring that goods are shipped in the timeliest and efficient manner according to the documented processes, including selecting the mode of transportation and tracking the shipment from pick up to delivery.
• Communicate to management fulfillment status and / or issues including logistics, sales, and customer service.
• Organize and maintain electronic documentation supporting logistics and distribution through contractual obligations of 3rd party suppliers.
• Maintain management and overseas office informed on a regular basis, alerting management of business opportunities, problems /issues
• Schedule internal communication to clarify and explain the documentation that we require and to help them understand the reasons for our requirements and to help them streamline their process to make it seamless transaction between themselves and UOP Customers.
• Lead in freight and drive logistic provider to meet operational excellence & costs target
• Influencing and driving a continuous improvement culture on the logistics process through the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) process
• Build a Customer Satisfaction and Service culture
• Day-to-day tracking of logistic activities and account management
• Monitor STO and Export deliveries
• Investigate missed shipments
• Follow and understanding of Compliance with U.S. export regulation and specific country requirements of each destination.
• Monthly logistic cost control
• Coordinate and implement logistical projects
• Develop logistic solutions
•Handling of hazardous shipping regulations under IATA, IMO and DOT. •5+ Years Logistics Experience
•5+ Years’ Experience with managing all modes of transportation including international and domestic
•2+ years SAP Experience in Supply Chain
•Some experience in Logistics or relevant functions in Integration Supply Chain
•Air export and import experience preferred
•Some analytical skill
•Think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
•Extensive customer service skills for both internal and external stakeholders
•Good collaboration and influence with management and cross function teams
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Bachelor's Degree
