Description
- Develop and implement test protocols to measure and characterize cell properties and electro-chemical performance- Develop and implement process flows for the effective implementation of the protocols- Develop, implement, and document validation methods to ensure the integrity of the lab data- Coordinate characterization data collection- Coordinate the acquisition or in-house design and manufacture of small tools for lab use- Resolve need for and schedule/perform routine maintenance of test equipment and meters- Collect and analyze test data, write-up reports as necessary- Maintain standard operating procedure database- Refine/Update test procedures and documents- Train and mentor technicians in the operation and upkeep of test equipment and tools
Key Qualifications
- - 2 - 5 years of electrical engineering experience
- - Experience with testing various battery technologies
- - Understanding of test requirements and ability to convert into test protocols
- - Capable of making test choices based on electrochemistry nuances
- - Ability to interpret battery test results and communicate to team
- - Ability to operate and tackle all testing equipment and tools
- - Data management and statistical analysis experience helpful
- - Good communications skills
- - Able to function and interact in a multilevel team environment
- - Database experience desired
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Chemical Engineering subject area
