Vice President, Transformation Lead (Dealer Commercial Services)
As the Transformation Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Dealer Commercial Services (DCS) Risk organization in the design and execution of myriad business transformation initiatives including developing streamlined credit analysis capabilities and simplifying and automating numerous portfolio management manual processes. You will own all transformation efforts, including identification of product and enhancement gaps, communication and execution of production plans, and successfully delivering against competing development schedules. This role requires a strong executive presence in strategic discussions, critical thinking on developing products, and socializing initiatives with cross-functional business senior leaders to drive impact. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a strong leader, can work independently with minimal guidance, and is able to effectively engage and partner with multiple levels of management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Be a strategic thought partner with the Head of Underwriting and Transformation
- Partner with business, product and technology teams during inception and discovery phase to develop business cases.
- Define roadmap and key milestones to deliver end-to-end solution.
- Responsible for requirement gathering and creating development user stories for product/tech team.
- Responsible for regular updates / checkpoints on solution status with senior stakeholders, raising risks and issues early and working with broader team to resolve.CC
- Ensure production readiness (education, training, communications, etc.) and provide level 2 post go-live support. Oversee intake process and return on investment (ROI) analysis to help with prioritization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with various functional partners ranging from Sales, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Controls, Wholesale Credit Risk and Technology teams
Qualifications
- BS/BBA in Finance, Accounting or other Business degree; or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
- 5-7 years of financial services experience with a focus on commercial credit and product management, product transformation, or business strategy
- Must be a team player, prepared to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational, analytical and technical skills with the ability to multi-task and drive projects to completion
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, foster relationships and lead teams
- Intellectually curious, keen attention to detail, creative mindset, and strong bias for action
- Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications
- Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
