As the Commercialization Associate, you will work with the lead to develop a commercialization framework based on opportunity size, strategic value, and partner engagement. In this role, you will work closely with the Partnerships, Sales, and Marketing teams to identify priority partners and develop a new Go To Market (GTM) approach for each partner archetype.

Job responsibilities
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Determines a data-based commercialization framework that helps Merchant Services drive more value from our strategic partnerships;;Define partner tiering criteria to determine level of commercial engagement e.g. opportunity size, strategic relationship, etc.
  • Define JPMC and partner goals for each partner type and align with key stakeholders
  • Inventory of partners that our clients already use; Determine commercialization value-adds and where we have gaps
  • Develop product-market fit criteria for each partner archetype and strategic partners; Create success metrics and roles and responsibilities for execution
  • Drive sales enablement, partner enablement, and sales playbooks
  • Partners with internal teams to develop partner enablement and sales playbooks

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Prior experience in commercialization/GTM activities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in Strategic Partnerships or business development-focused roles with a demonstrated ability to articulate value prop for key partners
  • Prior experience working in large, cross-functional organizations with the ability to navigate and align on key data points and milestones
  • Background in financial services or fintech is a plus
  • Familiarity with partner ecosystems within the payments spaces
