Work closely withmarketing and product management, General Managers, Finance, and the salesorganization to maximize the profitability of the business by systematicallydeploying key pricing levers. The candidate will help define pricing actions todrive Value, Transactional, Pass-Thru, and Contract pricing performance onmonthly basis. You will analyze market drivers and competition to determine theprice elasticity. You will deliver financial impact by collaborating withdifferent stakeholders and developing price actions that drive profitability.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Lead organization strategically through change and deliver on goals set for the organization, including program, and project management
- Participate in the development and ensure consistent communication of regional pricing strategy, pricing action deployments and price realization
- Leverage market research and pricing intelligence to drive and report monthly price performance on Value, Transactional, Pass-Thru and Contract price initiatives
- Track and monitor inflation and cost increases across direct materials, labor rates and freight / logistics
- Build consistent and sustainable pricing practices to deliver value across businesses
- Support standard pricing deal desk and price management tool deployments
- Execute additional Price Analytical projects to provide price recommendations – Price Elasticity, Price Desk, Price trends, 80:20 Quad analysis, Ad Hoc analytics as required
- Engage with the GMs, Offering Managers, Sales and Marketing to develop and execute a pipeline of projects to support improved price realization, with a regular MOS to execute actions and measure the outcomes
- Run the price desk price realization process in partnership with the Business and Pricing COE team
- Regular and ongoing maintenance of SEA approvals and thresholds in collaboration with business pricing leaders
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experience in pricing, finance, product/offering management, and/or business strategy
- 2+ years of experience of successful cross functional project management
We value:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or Marketing
- Pricing management tool experience on SAP, Pricing + Revenue Optimization Software (PROS), Tableau
- Ability to translate strategy to execution and result oriented focus
- Significant experience in financial analysis, sales, marketing, data management, Information Technology / digital tools
- Demonstrated results in large, complex, matrix organizations
- Transactional and value pricing toolkit experience
- Excellent planning, execution, and project-management skills
- Ability to deliver on complex situations or problems
- Ability to convey information with clarity and directness
