Job Description:
The Flexpert program is designed with the expectation that the associate will stay in this role for approximately 18-24 months, with no firm threshold on either end.
It is expected that the Flexpert associate will support numerous groups during their tenure in the program. Our expectation is that the associate will take on several rotations, each lasting 4-6 months.
The Flexpert program will place attorneys in their rotations based on department needs, carefully considering the attorney’s preferences. The Flexpert attorneys are not expected to have in-depth knowledge of any particular area of law. The assignments will be appropriate for a driven and competent attorney who will be able to learn any specific expertise needed on the job.
After one or more rotations, the Flexpert will be placed in a long-term role within the Legal Department -- either within one of the Flexpert’s previous destinations, or elsewhere within the Legal Department.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide attorney support to various groups across the Legal Department
Potential to perform a wide variety of attorney tasks
Perform rotations ranging from 4-6 months in duration
Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to achieve desired outcome
Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders
Ensure project deliverables and timelines are met
Basic Qualifications:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
At least 6 years of experience as an attorney in a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency
Preferred Qualifications:
7+ years of experience as an attorney in a law firm, in-house legal department and/or government agency. Previous experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not required. Applicants without financial services experience who otherwise meet the criteria are encouraged to apply.

Strong analytical and organizational skills
