Global Market Development Manager, Bonding, Films and Acoustics Product Platform

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Global Market Development Manager in the Bonding, Films and Acoustics Product Platform in the Advanced Materials & Transportation Product Platform (AMTPP), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the global automotive market

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth objectives

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

• Conduct market research and analysis on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including portfolio, sales, product development, and application engineers to ensure alignment and support

• Manage and report on the performance of project and business development activities

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)

• Five (5) years of business development, sales, or marketing in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited institution

• Proven track record of successfully identifying and implementing new business opportunities

• Experience in global roles

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Ability to think strategically

• Ability to analyze complex data to drive decisions

• Demonstrated project management skills

• Automotive experience

• Experience with AI

Work location:

• Hybrid - Maplewood, MN - 3 days a week
