Job Description

Manages the deployment and embedding of new critical industrial engineering capabilities and standardized ways of working utilizing capacity models, work content graphs and line balancing for the different assembly lines located in the IGTD facilities within North America.

Your role:

  • Manages the deployment and embedding of critical capabilities and standardized ways of working for continuous improvement and Industrial Engineering (tools, methods, standard work, value stream map, etc)

  • Assesses the organization in determining work content graphs and optimal production flow.

  • Structurally supports Plant-MTs to improve key business productivity metrics per manufacturing area and per assembly line.

  • Supports IGTD Manufacturing sites to resolve issues related to industrial engineering and/or production / productivity issues using lean and Six Sigma tools, Continuous Improvement methodology, Kaizen events and Problem Solving as a way to improve Quality, Efficiency, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory within each factory.

  • Coaches Manufacturing Engineers, Production, Warehouse and Quality Supervisors, by sharing, implementing, and sustaining best practices across deployment sites and across sectors to maximize productivity savings.

  • Demonstrates capability and potential for future leadership roles (Production Manager, Engineering Manager, Site Manager or similar scope of responsibility).

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering/continuous improvement in a regulated industry

  • Your skills include the ability to influence the performance of teams, ability to work with limited supervision from superiors to determine methods/procedures on new assignments, change management skills, ability to drive the Philips culture and principles, Master of Philips Continuous Improvement Practices

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a business degree with preferred certifications on Lean Management, Continuous Improvement and/or Shingo methodologies

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
