As the Retirement Desk Team Leader, you will be focused on coaching, managing, and leading licensed Retirement Consultants to deliver an exceptional and welcoming experience for prospective investors, existing clients, and advisors by identifying the best solution for them.
Job responsibilities
You will be responsible for coaching, managing, and leading a team of licensed Retirement Consultants who are expected to consistently deliver in the following ways:
- Client Experience – provide exceptional service and flawless execution on all service requests and inquiries, such as: understanding their digital experience, where to find forms, questions on equity holdings, and transacting on shares
- Education – become an expert in the different types of retirement accounts and products and be able to articulate these nuances in a professional, easy-to-understand format both written and verbally
- Business Development – be able to identify potential business opportunities between J.P. Morgan and the client to engage in broader wealth management products/services. You will serve as the gateway to broader financial solutions available.
- Market Partnership – effectively collaborate with respective client-facing teams and internal business groups to deliver and execute client transactions
- Risk & Controls – adhere to and maintain the firm’s controls, policies, procedures, and FINRA regulations. This will include monitoring and adhering to certain SLAs and KPIs
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum six years of Financial Services experience with minimum of 1 year in a leadership position.
- If you were registered after October 1, 2018, you must also have a valid and active Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam.
- A valid and active Series 7 and Series 66 license is required.
- FINRA Series 9/10 and CRPC or CFP designation is required. CRPC may be obtained within the first 120 days.
- Strong background in Individual retirement products and technical knowledge of retirement accounts and how they work.
- In-depth knowledge of ERISA, Department of Labor, Best Interest rules, Managed Accounts and Employee Benefit Programs
