As the Vice President, Sales Strategy and Support Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various strategic projects for the Practice Management organization. You will have strong attention to detail and experience working with a client-facing sales organization. In this role you will be highly visible and required to partner with and influence key internal stakeholders and senior leadership across the Wealth Management business. The ability to adapt and remain flexible in a constantly evolving business are key attributes for success. You must have a strong problem-solving mindset, be detail-oriented and skilled at managing in a fast-paced environment.
Job responsibilities
- Lead strategic projects across the Practice Management organization, with a focus on client experience, advisor experience and driving key business initiatives
- Identify opportunity areas in the business, bringing together relevant stakeholders to build business solutions that are scalable
- Design and build a segmentation strategy that can be operationalized at scale, prioritizing client and advisor experience
- Engagement with Field Leaders: Ongoing engagement with field leadership to drive strategies, adjust based on feedback, and measure success
- Identify risks and escalate issues quickly and appropriately, helping to resolve with solution-focused mindset
- Build trust and rapport through all interactions to deliver the right outcomes for the business; driving advisor and client mindset across all strategic initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 8 years experience in strategy, and project management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) required.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to clearly communicate complex topics in a succinct manner
- Strong organizational and project management skills; proven ability to manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlines. Must be able to demonstrate speed, flexibility and the ability to work in a constantly changing environment
- Leadership and relationship-building skills required to work with functional partners, the field salesforce and subject matter experts
- Extensive experience in building presentations for multiple audiences, including senior leadership
- Comfortable presenting recommendations to senior management and capable of influencing multiple stakeholders across functional areas and lines of business
- Strategic thinking and planning skills coupled with ability to execute projects with diligence and urgency
- Ability to influence project teams in order to produce clear, well-designed, recommendations – with the skills to adjust style/content for a variety of audiences, from executives to customer-facing employees
- Proactive; takes initiative to identify solutions, has entrepreneurial business spirit
- Bachelors degree required

- Overall business management strongly preferred
- Experience in financial services, firsthand investment experience, branch sales, and/or management experience also preferred.
