Job Summary:

As a Loan Origination Specialist III, you will serve as a primary liaison between the Business Relationship Manager and the Credit Coordinator. Your role will involve reviewing approvals, documentation, and due diligence to ensure Small Business loans are closed in accordance with the approval. You will also prepare documentation to avoid any risk to the client or the bank. This role provides an opportunity to apply your attention to detail and communication skills in a high volume, production-oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reviews commercial credit application packages for adherence to credit policy and determination of appropriate due diligence necessary to ensure proper collateral position
• Reviews the following: Business entity and organizational documents to include trust agreements, good standing of business entities, and UCC searches, as required
• Coordinates obtaining or ordering and reviews: equipment valuations, as well as other reports and information
• Evaluates all reports and information received with respect to collateral evaluation & verification to determine if terms and conditions of the credit approval will be met.
• Prepares the loan documentation and compliance documentation necessary to protect the bank's interest, as necessary

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preparing commercial loan, SBA, or mortgage loan documents required
• Experience with collateral and entity due diligence related to commercial loans is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and PC skills
• Able to communicate well and work independently in a high volume, production-oriented environment.
• College degree, paralegal, or equivalent work experience
