What you will do:
- As a member of the Markets Program Execution and Transformation Team, the role will manage the end to end delivery of one or more critical projects within Capital and RWA, ensuring that best practices and Citi standards are utilized to ensure successful delivery in a complex, global program
- Ensure transparency and effective management, tracking, and escalation of issues, risks, and assumptions
- Chair the project working group, ensuring that all contributing teams are aware of what’s required of them, that risks are actively managed before they become issues, and ensuring successfully delivery
- Manage PMO resources to ensure that program management best practices and Citi standards are adhered to
- Effective communication with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the program / project, including obtaining buy-in for business process and infrastructure changes
- Develop and deliver reporting and presentations to governance forums, Markets Program and Execution, and Transformation management covering project / program status, resourcing and plans
- Lead, supervise, coach and develop more junior Markets Program Execution and Transformation team members and matrix management of teams across businesses/functions
What we need from you:
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in managing and executing on complex data programs including the sourcing, transformation, enrichment and governance of trade data in a business role.
- Knowledge of Front Office market structure and trade flow across a range of markets trading products.
- Knowledge and experience of structured project management techniques in a front office environment
- Knowledge of Operational Risk methodologies/frameworks and demonstrable appreciation of the need for and impact of controls, thresholds and Data Quality rules plus fundamental data terminology
- Demonstrable experience in trade processing front-to-back, risk and control, markets, operations, and support & control areas (e.g. Finance, Risk) within a large bank/dealer
- Experience running complex, high profile, high impact projects / programs as a consultant or internal change group
- Knowledge of Python preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Strong project and program management skills
- Management and facilitation to achieve objectives, in a in a co-operative and collaborative way, with both local and with remote teams
- Practitioner expertise in designing and implementing structured business/operational processes and business requirements documentation
Qualifications
- College/university degree education or equivalent experience
