: Full-time T3/4 Support Engineer, working in GMT-3 time zone
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
- Independently troubleshoot customer issues by analyzing product & systemic behavior.
- Ability to understand and solve complex problems and concepts as well as make decisions based on given input.
- Work as a liaison & drive communication internally between T2 Support, engineering & product management to resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proactive in identifying critical point of failure, raising flags & escalating issues that are of urgent nature.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, ability to juggle multiple priorities and parallel projects and products simultaneously.
Computer Science graduate (or related education domain).
Requirements:
- Proven knowledge of Micro Services architecture
- Knowledge of Linux and familiarity with Windows are an advantage.
- Familiarity with infrastructure components, mainly Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, Postgres DB, DataDog
- Proven knowledge of AWS framework
- Ability to perform code fixes for identified issues in server components – Java, Node JS, Spring boot, JavaScript – an advantage.
- Experience utilizing debugging tools and lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions (Wireshark or similar).
- Data Communications knowledge - TCP/IP, LAN/WAN
- Ability to write technical and procedures documentation.
- On-call duty as necessary (escalations).
- Work inGMT-3 time zone
