The Microsoft Asia regional Sales Enablement and Operations Organization (SE&O) is seeking a strategic, tenacious, and driven Go-To-Market Manager to take on a pivotal role in promoting the Azure Application Innovation platform and its services as the leading choice for customers' and partners' digital, cloud, and AI transformations.

As the Azure Application Innovation GTM Manager, you will be center of Azure Application Innovation business in Australia and New Zealand. You will have end-to-end accountability for the Azure Application Innovation Solutions across all customer segments, including strategy, planning, execution, advocacy, governance, and business performance. This role is responsible for delivering revenue, consumption KPIs, and market share targets for Azure Application Innovation Solution Areas and strategic workloads.

You will be a key partner of the Area counterparts, such as sales, marketing, partner, customer success, skilling, finance, services, and audience engagement. You will provide data and insights to support and drive effective business prioritization and decision-making for the Azure business in Australia & New Zealand.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Understanding of the Developer Tool(Visual Studio, GitHub), Cloud Native technologies(Container, DevOps, Integration Services), cloud solution areas and the segment priorities/opportunities, and a deep understanding of customer solutions and strategies and end-to-end Cloud market ecosystem.
  • A strategic thinker who can translate cloud services and AI strategy and objectives into clear, discrete, and executable plans for your market.
  • A business planner who can compose an integrated business plan across sales, marketing, partners, and customer engineering disciplines.
  • A collaborator who can work across multiple stakeholders across Core, Asia Region, and Areas to ensure that we deliver the best customer and partner experiences possible.
  • A results-oriented achiever who is excited about landing these plans to realize revenue, Azure consumption, growth, share, and strategic market outcomes.

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • Extensive marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
  • Proven experience in cloud technologies and solutions, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms and services.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Solid recent experience working with developer products and cloud native services. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, GitHub and API Management concepts and models (e.g. AKS, GitHub Copilot, Azure API Management)
  • Extensive experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs

Drive Business Performance

  • Partners with Areas to drive GTM for aligned Solution Plays, identifying growth opportunities in the market and builds clear execution plans.
  • Align, influence and coach field teams, sales operations, marketing plans, business rhythms and change management to convert strategic priorities into local execution.
  • Partners across Microsoft core teams to bring the voice of field and co-design strategy and programs.

Sales Enablement

  • Lands and champions solution plays, activating connected sales and marketing execution in every segment to maximize performance and share.
  • Evangelize Microsoft strategy for Developer Productivity and App Modernization.

Product Advocacy

  • Advocates as the voice of the Customer, Partners and Field to provide thought leadership on competitive landscape, solution area gaps, sales trends, etc. to drive improvements on the Go-To-Market (GTM) plan.
  • Grows organization capability to drive true insights, learnings and blockers for leaders, managers, and sellers​.
  • Drives standardized rhythms and tools that drive increased customer and partner facing time for sellers​.
  • Activates leaders and managers on investments and resource optimization, leveraging data and analysis​.
