In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience on software engineering including full life cycle development SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) and understanding of application development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Bachelors/Masters Tech Degree or equivalent advanced degree.

  Experience in Agile tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins, Confluence, etc

• Experience in setting up infrastructure for Kafka, Mongo, JVMs, K8S/OpenShift.

• Experience in modern application development practices such as CI/CD and DevOps.

• Hands on experience using Service Now, working with Change Management process.

  Ability to work to deadlines both independently and within a team environment.

• Experience working in a large enterprise environment

  Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change

• Well-versed with tools like AppDynamics, Splunk and CI/CD tools.

  Demonstrate ability to interact effectively with a variety of contacts including mid-level managers

Job Expectations:

• Responsible for coordinating and setting up the infrastructure for various tech platforms like JVMs, Kafka and MongoDB.

• 3+ years of DevOps tool set based continuous incremental delivery experience, setting up CICD pipelines using Jenkins, UCD, Harness, Vault, etc

• Good to have experience on OpenShift Container Platform.

  Resolve moderately complex issues and collaborate within/across teams to meet business needs.
