What skills and qualifications do I need?

For this role it is essential that you:

  • Native Korean speaker with an excellent level of English.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a relevant field at minimum.
  • Solid understanding of web front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT solution engineering, IT implementation, or IT project management.
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with both internal business units and external clients.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in web front-end development.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with demonstrated experience in communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience and willingness to collaborate with global teams through remote communication methods across different time zones on a daily basis.
  • Experience in mobile app development is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the online media/advertising industry is a plus.

As aSolutions Manager, you will perform the following:

  • Consultation and Solution Design : Listen to and advise both internal and external clients, translating their requirements into optimal technical solutions.
  • Project Planning : Define implementation scope, timelines, and ownership to provide a clear plan for stakeholders.
  • Technical Implementation and Delivery : Engage in technical configurations to ensure all deliverables meet SLA and align with business requirements.
  • Communication and Reporting : Maintain proactive communication by sharing regular status updates on Korean market activities with stakeholders.
  • Client Engagement and Support: Lead technical communications with clients, ensuring timely responses to queries through appropriate channels.
  • Issue Resolution and Follow-up: Conduct diligent troubleshooting of implementation and integration issues, escalating to support with comprehensive information and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ownership and Accountability: Take full ownership of technical deliveries and problem investigations in the Korean market, ensuring resolutions meet expectations.
  • Client Consultation: Participate in external meetings to provide technical consultations aligned with client needs, with or without Taboola business teams.
  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Regularly analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and proactively address abnormal trends.
  • Process Adherence and Expectation Management: Ensure operational efficiency by adhering to defined processes, guidelines, and best practices. Additionally, guide both the business team and clients to comply with these protocols and minimize the use of customized solutions to enhance future scalability.
