Job responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the markets securities operations teams in Buenos Aires consisting of around 50 employees, to ensure timely and accurate processing, actively using metrics to monitor accomplishment of goals/performance levels and operational objectives
• Coordinate closely with the functional leads in the Markets Securities Operations management team to ensure consistency of process, controls and strategy across the global teams
• Attract, develop, and retain a high performance and diverse team.
• Utilize data analytics to define and measure process performance and continuously seek opportunities to improve and mitigate risk across post trade processing.
• Manage associated resources and expenses within the targeted annual budget.
• Facilitate the adoption and usage of automation toolsets and AI-enabled solutions to create capacity opportunities and reduce manual process interventions.
• Ensuring clear integration and communication locally and dissemination of local management information and initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 12+ years of relevant Operations, Risk & Controls management experience within Financial Services;
• Prior experience and strong knowledge of financial markets and products
• Analytical problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and to partner and influence relevant stakeholders
• Ability to lead a control focused culture that nurtures excellence and transparency
• Ability to drive a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk identification and assessment
• Must be highly disciplined, and can execute in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Bachelor’s degree required
