The Controls Technology organization , which is part of Functions Technology, is the technology partner for Central Controls . We design , build and manage technology solutions used for Risk and Controls Self-assessment, Controls Monitoring and testing, and several others
Responsibilities:
- Provides IT strategic direction for projects managed including developing detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
- Exercises influence over team budget, policy formulation and planning.
- Has significant business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
- Provides expertise in projects managed and demonstrates an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership.
- Possesses an understanding of client core business functions.
- Directly impacts the business through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions for IT Project Leadership.
- Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties.
- Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technology objectives.
- Responsible for resource management and allocation of work; acts as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
- Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in a related Program/Project IT technology role and subject matter expertise in financial services.
- Experience in managing large scale technology programs in financial services is required.
- Technology program management experience not operations is required.
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Any experience in Audit engagement / program management closure packs etc.… would be a huge advantage.
- Written and Verbal Communication must be quite polished in order to work well with our senior stakeholders.
- PMP or other certifications desirable
