As an Advanced Field Service Engineer , your focus will be driving the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems, and lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.
KeyResponsibilities: - Provide on-site technical support to customers in industries such as petroleum, smelting, chemical, and high-tech sectors.
- Handle the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas detectors.
Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure high-quality and timely service, resolving any technical issues encountered on-site. - Document and report on field service activities, including issues encountered, solutions provided, and customer feedback.
- Conduct in-house repairs, including diagnosing, repairing, and performance testing of gas detection equipment.
- Ensure all repair work meets company and industry quality standards.
- Provide technical training to customers and internal staff to ensure proper usage and maintenance of the products.
- Develop and update technical documentation and training materials.
- Offer product improvement suggestions based on field experience to help enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Support the R&D team with testing and feedback on new products.
KeyExperience & Capabilities: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of field service or repair experience in a related industry. Experience with gas detectors or similar products is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in industries such as petroleum and chemical.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work independently.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
