Working with technical colleagues, program managers, ecosystem and particularly academic partners to identify academic user needs in India, in education and research, and mediate effectively with various offers from Arm and its ecosystem partners
Develop a roadmap of technical products and services to support academic user needs in India, whenever there are gaps
Working collaboratively with academia in India, develop scalable ways to lower the barrier for software developers on Arm and to optimise and port their workloads seamlessly on efficient Arm-based hardware
Develop and support education and academic communities of practice in India, and actively facilitate their networking with equivalent regional and global communities of practice
Ensure that India-based initiatives contribute to the wider global program, lowering the barrier to entry for all
Required skills and experience
A very good technical understanding of various software and hardware offers from Arm and ecosystem
Strong background in software engineering including cloud and distributed computing
Proven experience in building and nurturing communities of practice in academia and/or industry
Strong abstract reasoning skills with an ability to focus on key concepts at all levels of detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to convey technical material to a non-technical audience at different levels of seniority
Ability to work independently in addition to part of a distributed team
"Nice to have" skills and experience
A strong understanding and experience in software-hardware co-design and optimising software workloads for hardware, particularly Arm-based hardware
A good understanding of embedded systems and SoC development
