The CM of Trading Cards willbe responsible forThis includes leading 1-2 of the keyworkstreams on a day-to-day basis focused on achieving GMV targets. Partnering closely with the workstream partnership lead.

APAC, Germany, and UK with light support for Canada and Australia providing updates to key initiatives and investments.

This individual will act as the subject matter expert for their category and have a clear perspective on framing up the approach and success criteria of key initiatives necessary to drive GMV and CSAT success. They will invest in building out

The CM will be responsiblen partnership with senior category managerfor drivingto drive baseline GMV growth, including the following activities:

  • report outon the business critial metrics including conversion rate, ASP, top buyer/seller growth, traffic and more on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Responsible for leading WBR, MBR, QBR conversations and documentation for your key categories of business. Responsible for the outcome recommendations on next step tactics and execution

  • Partner Support & Optimization: Responsible for supporting key partner(s) ensuring the seller is managed and supported end-to-end, whileidentifyingopportunities to grow thesellersbusiness and improve the seller health

  • Product: Responsible for partnering with the product team on providing input into key initiatives (1-3 annually) grounded in consumer insights and data. Responsible for supporting the identified initiatives along the product lifecycle as a SME providing input and direction against the NorthStar to achieve program success

  • Competitive Landscape:Monitorandreport outon competitive market dynamics and competitor movementsidentifyingany pivots eBay may need to make

  • Consumer Insights: Partner and leverage consumer insights and teams to dive deep into understanding our current customers buying behaviors, providing input into new research studies

  • Site Merchandising: Responsible for defining a 52-week calendar outlining key retail moments, events, and seasonal events where eBays should show up on the homepage and category pages (Ex. Superbowl) partnering with the merchandising team to develop events that generate relevancy, visibility, and GMV growth

  • Marketing Success: Provide input into return on investment positive marketing events onsite and offsite including paid investments and exhibitions (booths as shows). Monitor event traffic, conversion, and findings ensuring there is a clear value for every investment that is non-awareness based. Responsible foridentifyingselectionand promotions necessary to support campaigns

  • Ads: Partner with the ADS team toidentifyan annual ads revenue goal partnering to pitch and onboard more sellers into the ADS program


Qualifications:

  • , Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

  • 3-5 years proven experience in category management, e-commerce, retail, or a related industry

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence partners at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and get results in a fast-paced environment

  • Creative problem solver with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving

  • Proficient in using analytical tools such as Amplitude and experience with site merchandising tools

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
