Asan Electrical Engineer, you will work closely with the process development,controls, and design teams to deploy first-of-a-kind dry battery electrodeproduction processes and equipment, design new processing facilities, support projectsfrom concept through design, install, integration, ramp, and handover tothe operations team.

• Coordinatethe design and development of one-line diagrams, site plans, 3D models,electrical panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams from initial conceptto final design
• Developspecial engineering documentation used to install, operate, and maintain processequipment
• Leadthe design, installation, and commissioning of MV and LV equipment, controlsystems, IO panels and cabling, and automation devices
• Prepare engineeringspecifications for bid invitation, perform bid evaluation, and confirm bidevaluations for purchase
• Engagein some field-based activities; applicant should be comfortable working in an operationalmanufacturing facility with ongoing construction activity
• Completefull electrical design for industrial control system, including powerdistribution, hardware and cabinet design, and motor control/VFDs, andadditionally review and provide written comments on design plans andspecifications prepared by others
• Ensuredesigns meet appropriate electrical codes and work with external parties toverify compliance with these codes
• Establishstandards and specifications for installation, modification, quality control,testing, operation, inspection, and maintenance of PLC and DCS based automatedcontrol systems
• Performenergy audits and complete circuit analyses to predict energy usage and maximumvoltage sag for critical loads
• Implementelectrical safety programs following OSHA and NFPA 70E guidelines

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+years of direct design and construction experience for high-tech infrastructureand operational facilities (O&G, Pulp and Paper, Chemical, Discreetmanufacturing, battery, etc.) with emphasis on industrial automation (PLCand DCS control systems)
• Abilityto multi-task, prioritize, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Abilityto interface with multiple engineering disciplines
• Abilityto direct HMI/PLC development and industrial automation/machinery systems,especially using distributed control systems
• Experienceperforming IO checks and troubleshooting device and control systems failures
• Experiencemaintaining, repairing, and operating medium voltage equipment, including troubleshooting,and working on medium voltage relays
• Workingknowledge of OSHA and NFPA codes and HAZMAT safety protocols
• Wellversed in the National Electrical Code and the International Electrical TestingAssociation
• Abilityto communicate clearly and interface at an executive level
