Job Description

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Algo Research & Development: challenge definition, feasibility research, concept definition, solution development, qualification testing and on-tool implementation
• Algorithmic solution support: gain an in-depth and fundamental understanding of tool’s algorithms, utilize knowledge for on site trouble shooting, root cause analysis and customer escalation support
• Work requires attending both customer site and office, and becoming the local point of contact for all algorithmic items required by KLA team and customer
• Demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods, planning experiments and techniques for obtaining solutions, working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of multiple factors
• Interact with senior internal and external personnel

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Engineering or Physics (highly skilled M.A./M.Sc. will be also considered)
• Background in Signal & Image processing
• Highly skilled in algorithm development and implementation in Matlab / Python
• Fluent and verbally skilled in communicating in English
• Experience with Optical Systems / Microscopy – an advantage
• Experience in the semi-conductor industry – an advantage
