Responsibilities:
The Payroll Analyst's Intermed primary role is to ensure that processes are performed according to set procedures and in compliance with In-Country Governance. This role administers the payroll and Accounting related activities for all legal vehicles covered by payroll. S/he may also be involved in special projects to support management.
Job Description
• Ownership and accountable for managing end to end payroll processing and other related transactions for all legal vehicles covering all business segments and all types of employees.
• Adherence to Key payroll controls to ensure agreed Accuracy and Timelines is met
• Ensure all payroll statutory reporting and remittance are completed as per the regulatory due dates
• Prepare and process Payroll General Ledger Entries and other benefit accruals and adjustments on time.
• Responsible for working in partnership with Citibank’s vendor (as applicable) on the payroll deliverables
• Partner and support Citibank’s HR partners, business heads and designated authorized officers to deliver efficient and high level of customer service.
• Responsible and accountable for performing end to end payroll reconciliation steps and manage employee enquires.
• Accountable for ensuring Compliance with all local regulatory and legal requirements
• Responsible for audit requirements are met both internal and external.
• Responsible for the security and confidentiality of sensitive data that will be handled.
• Accountable for creating and maintaining standard operating manuals for all payroll processes.
• Drives change and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Responsible for keeping up to date knowledge on key HR and applications required to assist in processing payroll
• Accountable to meet all SLAs and KPIs.
• May be required to perform other related work that may be assigned by direct Line Manager or management to meet the needs of the business.
• Responsible and accountable for adhoc tasks assigned as well as testing as needed.
Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of India payroll and statutory rules and regulations
• Must have at least 8 to 10 yrs. experience in managing India payroll and statutory compliances
• Must have experience in managing end to end payroll for >5K employee headcount
• Must have equivalent experience and knowledge of accounting concepts and procedures.
• Should have sound knowledge of payroll systems and logics (Workday/ERP)
