What you'll do
As the Product Manager, you will lead and manage a team of experienced product experts, and you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the SAP Ecosystem to:
- Manage and prioritize customer requests during the activation of S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in the Americas region with special focus in Latin America, working closely with Customers, Partners and SAP Colleagues.
- Support and enable the Americas Regional teams in setting up activation projects for S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, ensuring customer expectations are met and go-lives go silent.
- Gather customer feedback to compile SAP’s product roadmap, working closely with Product and Development teams.
- Drive the adoption of S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and advocating for solution readiness and new innovations.
- Conduct expert testing on planned and future functionality of S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and other cross-functional products within the SAP Intelligent Enterprise Suite.
- Be the go-to person for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, which means you also have subject matter expertise in the solution.
Your role will be instrumental in supporting our strategic innovations, through:
- Utilizing your experience to analyze market and client demand and transfer this directly into the Product Management/Development teams.
- Acting as a key liaison between different internal organizations such as Development, Partner Management, Operations, Globalization Services, Support and the Preferred Success organization.
- Collaborating seamlessly with the S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Co-Innovation program, with a specific focus on Latin America requirements and strategic customers.
- Through effective management of your team and engagement with stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and growth of our products in the Americas region.
What you'll bring
- Relevant 15+ years of working experience in the SAP environment.
- Previous experience managing high performing teams.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or master’s degree in related discipline a related field preferred.
- Hands-on experience in activating and using SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition across various Industries or Line of Businesses, with a solid understanding of its functionality and technology.
- Experience with SAP Activate.
- Proficiency in professional software development with a focus in the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different countries, regions and time zones.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in customer-facing (Consulting, product management, etc.) roles and a track record of successful engagement in functional areas such as Finance, Procurement, Logistics, or Manufacturing.
Preferred skills
The ideal candidate for this role will also have the following preferred skills:
- A deep understanding of the subscription cloud economy and customer success in the digital economy.
- Strong knowledge of cloud principles and experience working with cloud-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP business processes and their application in real-world scenarios.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to achieve a balanced satisfaction between stakeholders.
- Experience in driving projects in a multi-stakeholder environment and ability to leverage cross departmental networks / teams in multiple time zones.
Work experience
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving successful outcomes in a team in multiple time zones.
- Proven track record in customer-facing roles within the SAP environment.
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition activation and a subject matter expertise in functional areas such as Finance, Procurement, Logistics or Manufacturing.
- Experience with Cloud deployment and operations cloud mindset.
- Prior involvement in Latin America localizations and co-innovation processes, showcasing an understanding of the regional market requirements and customer needs.
