• Work on developing the software application to manage complex optical system and automation stack
• Deliver high level quality software tools
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems
• Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team to solve problems
• Participate in the SW/HW integration

• Computer science engineering or equivalent degree at either BSc, MSc or PhD level
• 2+ years of experience in major full-stack programming languages, including at least one of the following: C/C++, Java, or JavaScript
• Knowledge in the use of configuration controls tools and software repository mechanisms such as Github, Bitbucket

• Programming experience in Linux environment
• Experience with Angular
• Ability to work in globally distributed team with fast prototyping and development
• Experience within optics/optical networking
• Understanding of computer networks and network protocols (TCP/IP etc)
• Automation experience with Python
