- Compile and analyze financial information and trends for the assigned organization.
- Apply and understand Commissions plan structure and business impact.
- Analysis and interpretation of large dataset.
- Maintaining and developing integrated financial forecasts, accruals, and related reporting
- Communication of results and recommendations to all levels of business partners.
- Analyze the financial impact of Commission related results and projections, share those results and key drivers with business partners t both via standard reporting and ad-hoc requests.
- Participate in annual Commissions budgeting and plan evaluation.
- Develop and maintain processes and reports to track key business metrics.
Analysts on the Commissions team are also responsible for the following:
- Evaluating and implementing Commissions models and strategies to ensure they
- continue to align to business metrics.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation.
- Supporting Sales in Commissions education, interpretation, and deal construction
- Developing expertise in Sales compensation planning
- Understanding of core finance business processes to ensure timely delivery of financial results including Quarterly Business Reviews, close processes, SOX controls, and Audit
- Understanding of BMC business drivers and financials
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related quantitative concentration with a minimum of two years professional work experience within the Finance field.
- You have strong analytical experience on large and complex data sets.
- You have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Experience with any of the following applications is a plus – Excel Power Query | Workday Adaptive | Tableau | MicroStrategy | OneStream.
- You have a solid working knowledge of accounting/budgeting practice.
- Familiarity or previous experience with Corporate Sales Compensation and/or experience in a finance role in the Software industry is a plus.
