What you will do

  • Sell Red Hat's Ansible Automation Platform solutions portfolio by exploring, defining, and taking advantage of new business opportunities

  • Develop strategies and plans and participate in strategic, tactical, and forecasting planning

  • Promote the value of Red Hat offerings and solutions to prospective customers in a highly competitive market

  • Meet quantitative and qualitative performance expectations and set high standards for presenting key messages to C-level executives in and out of Red Hat

  • Guide customers through their on premise and hybrid cloud automation journey using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.

  • Work closely with the sales account teams to identify key accounts and assist in creating and carrying out strategic account plans

  • Develop and execute outbound pipeline building generation strategies

  • Gain trusted adviser status with senior IT and business executives for key accounts to create long-term partnerships with customers

What you will bring

  • Extensive experience in a solutions sales role or in technical sales and consulting services

  • Background in consultative customer engagement with an automation platform provider or on the sales team of an automation platform reseller

  • Broad technical experience with enterprise Operations, network and automation technologies

  • Experience focused on Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure is a big plus

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executives at large firms

  • Ability to sell solutions in a multi-product environment

  • Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers

  • Balance of strategic and tactical skills

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically

The salary range for this position is $258,240.00 - $426,240.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
