OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

The position will lead strategic projects with responsibilities including:

Network Strategy Execution

  • In accordance withour Manufacturing DivisionNetwork Strategy, and in coordination with functional partners, evaluate and develop business cases for divestiture or acquisition of manufacturing capacity/sites across any region of the globe.

  • Develop negotiation strategy and execute the Sale-Purchase, Transition Services, and Supply Agreement associated with such transaction.

  • Collaborate closely with allour Manufacturing Divisionfunctional areas (e.g. Legal, Finance, External Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, EHS, Procurement, Quality, Science & Technology, and Manufacturing Operations).

  • Ensure that all divisional and manufacturing issues are addressed and optimized to meet both short and long term business objectives over the course of an ongoing supply relationship.

  • Provide leadership in negotiating supply and technical contracts that impactour Manufacturing Divisionin addition to being able to lead any transaction team that has a manufacturing/supply component.

  • Routinely assess and understand resource requirements, supply, production plans, inventory, demand management, product costs, intellectual property, quality, capital needs, environmental, safety and industrial hygiene, compliance and financials in order to fully realize divestiture, acquisition or third-party supply objectives.

Third-Party sales

  • Incumbent leads or supports supply related business forums (e.g. Joint Manufacturing Committees).

  • Routinely communicates with third party partners in leadership positions to maintain trust and resolve disputes.

  • Follows established governance and escalates appropriately and only as needed to senior leadership.

  • Works with third party partners to resolve contractual disputes, negotiates any cost reimbursements, and ensures all corrective actions are quickly identified and implemented to ensure reliable supply.

  • Establishes operating principles, ways of working and governance serving as a third party (CMO) supplier.

  • Maintains an internal cross site forum with site CMO relationship leads (where our Company serves as a major third-party supplier) to ensure consistency in complying with Master Supply Agreement terms and the promotion.

The incumbent should have the followingLeadership Capabilities:

  • Understanding and communicating Financial and Budgetary Impacts / Risks.

  • Be skilled in effectively leading virtual teams and have ability to influence both horizontally and vertically throughout the regional functions and organization.

  • Drive to engage others and have excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills with ability to lead and influence strategic outcomes.

  • Be able to maintain focus on the key project goals and priorities, but also be able to dive into the detail to facilitate problem resolution and ensure project success.

Required Education Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in field of Science or Engineering or equivalent job experience with a demonstrated record of solid achievements.

  • MBA or Masters in technical discipline is highly desirable. Minimum of 15 years’ experience.

  • Ability to develop, articulate and build support around a long term goal and implement incremental milestones toward that goal.

The incumbent must:

  • Have excellent interpersonal, communications, and leadership skills, with the ability to think strategically and communicate vision to team members and all levels of management.

  • Have a strong project management, negotiation and conflict management skills. Be able to maintain focus on the key project goals and priorities, but also be able to dive into the details to facility problem resolution and ensure continual progress.

  • Understandour Manufacturing DivisionSupply Strategy and Network Intent. Understand our Company's business and business processes.

  • Understand the requirements of a complex business case and be skilled in leading and executing within multifaceted project environments with a small to large cross functional team. Able to align resources and teams to solve problems. Able to quickly assess cultural and social complexities and integrate to project plans.

  • Experience in Relationship Management, Operations, Technology Transfers, Regulatory, Procurement, Capital Projects, or Source Changes.

  • Flexibility with working schedule and availability to travel.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience working with commercial operations and/or 3rd party partners

  • Experience with complex global changes (e.g. product source changes and change control) and managing project intersections

  • Proficiency in Microsoft project

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by aagreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. Expected salary range:

$164,800.00 - $259,400.00
