Key Areas of Responsibility:
Join a global team as Design Analysis/Simulation engineer, taking on major design analysis responsibilities in product development for Healthcare, Industrial, Transportation & Aerospace applications. Analysis should help in making informed design decisions.
Independently execute Design analysis/simulation for projects within a cross-functional NPI team. Take full Responsibility of understanding the customer requirements and developing suitable FEA/CFD/Math models to evaluate sensor performance.
Responsible for developing Analysis reports capturing various load conditions and failure modes of the design and helping in selecting optimum design.
Able to understand product application environment & test plans to develop suitable Simulation models to estimate design margins.
Good communication skills, proficient in leading and driving overall design analysis of sensor from mechanical aspects.
Perseverant approach with a goal-oriented and analytical mindset
Experience and Education Required: 12+ Years
B.E/ B. Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Expert in FEA and CFD analysis using ANSYS Workbench (Multiphysics, Mechanical & Fluent) and Autodesk CFD
Good proficiency in ANSYS SPACE CLAIM.
Familiar with Mathcad & MATLAB
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Professional Skills and Knowledge:
Good knowledge of Strength of materials and Fluid mechanics and heat Transfer Fundamentals.
Good understanding of Structural analysis using FEA & Flow and Heat Transfer analysis using CFD.
Good understanding of Nonlinear (Plastics & Rubber components) analysis involving Material ad geometrical nonlinearity.
Good knowledge of Fatigue & Creep analysis.
Good Knowledge Dynamic/Vibration analysis (Modal, Harmonic, Random & Shock Analysis)
Good Knowledge of design optimization technique using FEA & CFD tools.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards (eg, ISO, MIL-Std, DO-160, AS9100)
Exposure to New product development
Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and methodology
Good orientation in technical sources and search capabilities of required technical information
Language communication skills - speaking, email, and phone calls
