• Uber has transformed the mobility industry in Taiwan since its launch 11 years ago, and are continuing to drive innovation and experience improvements to help people move around more effortlessly
• Our "north star" is to "Mobilize 10 million people in Taiwan with a smarter network". Being a part of the mobility team means that you will be a critical member to drive changes and introduce new product / solutions to reach this goal

What You'll Do:

• Work on a variety of projects on rider growth across cohorts such as Uber One members, Business, Family, Teens, and others. Develop strategic growth plans to penetrate new cohorts with new products and channels
• Frame and structure our business problems
• Use data and analysis to solve these business problems
• Communicate your insights, verbally and in written form
• Design and execute projects that will see the end-to-end delivery of your solutions
• Partner with local and international business and technical stakeholders for project delivery
• Contribute to the development and execution of the Operations strategy for Taiwan

The Experience You'll Bring:

• University degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Economics, Statistics, Finance, Business/Commerce, Social Science, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience applying analysis to solve business problems (for example, in consulting, investment banking, technology and operations)
• Business fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
• Solutions mindset: you are naturally curious and are motivated by solving problems, however complicated or ambiguous they may be

Ideal Characteristics:

• Analytical skills: you can develop actionable insights from complex data. You have experience with data analysis, data manipulation, and data visualisation tools. You are highly proficient in Excel/Sheets and SQL. Experience with Tableau, Python or similar is a plus
• Collaboration: you work well with other people and can handle engagement with multiple stakeholders from different teams, locally and internationally
• Initiative and ownership: you manage and deliver end-to-end projects with autonomy
• Communication skills: you can communicate complicated insights and arguments both verbally and in writing
