Key Responsibilities as an Installation Engineer
- Follow procedures you learn during your training to perform wafer measurement and other installation processes
- Perform preventative maintenance independently; assist senior engineers with corrective maintenance as needed
- Perform wet cleans of equipment, disassembling, cleaning and rebuilding kits as part of kit management quality
- Learn and apply diagnostic techniques to resolve basic technical problems
- Complete required job documentation and procedures for processing parts
- Professionally represent Applied Materials to the customer, using your “customer first” mindset
- Satisfy the customer’s on-site requirements, including safety guidelines
Your education and experience
- A professional degree plus 1–2 years of semiconductor experience or other industryexperience
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic, electronics, vacuum and/or thermodynamics
- Knowledge of hand tools and proper usage
- Full training on our equipment will be provided, however knowledge and prior experience of our CVD/CMP/EPI/Implant toolsets would be advantageous .
