What You'll Do
  • Build : As we grow grocery on Uber Eats, we will work to bring more opportunities for merchants to invest in their business on Uber Eats. This role will be responsible for rolling out all co-marketing and merchant launch plans for the US and Canadian grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail businesses.
  • Analyze : Quantify everything you do. Use data-driven decision-making to understand business trends and craft your recommendations to senior leadership and external partners.
  • Strategize: Develop cases, prioritization frameworks, implementation plans, and growth strategies for merchant and ads product launches
  • Set a high bar : Establish and track against critical metrics to ensure maximum value on growth investments, and establish processes to launch initiatives with fewer Ops hours without sacrificing quality.
  • Turn strategy into action: Program manage all aspects of growing new and top merchants on the platform as required to bring the best Grocery and retail selection to customers on the Uber platform
  • Collaborate: Work with internal and external customers to create new ways for merchants to grow on the platform and improve their growth dollars, understanding how the marry the goals of Uber Eats and the merchant for mutually beneficial programming
  • Coach and develop: Directly manage, coach, and develop a small group of direct reports, enhancing their potential and consistently setting a higher standard of performance.
Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, analytics, tech, finance, or related fields.
  • 1+ year(s) directly managing people
Preferred Qualifications
  • Management consulting, marketplace growth operations, or strategy work in a large business (3+ years preferred)
  • 2+ years of client-facing experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel/ Google Sheets, SQL
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle problems logically; Data-driven approach to decision-making and sound business judgment to determine project performance and financial viability, grounded in analytical thinking
  • Bias toward action and master simplifier - constantly pushing toward alignment, clarity and execution on tight timelines
  • Phenomenal collaborator and someone who proactively partners across teams
  • Self-motivated, works independently, and has strong organization and time management skills
  • A creative approach that enjoys experimentation and is willing to take bold bets despite the risk of failure

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$137,000 per year - USD$152,000 per year.

For Miami, FL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$137,000 per year - USD$152,000 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$168,500 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$168,500 per year.
