The DCD ConstructionSite Manageris responsible forprojects as well as industry changing best practice.The DCD ConstructionSite Manageris responsible and accountable forproject strategyThe DCD ConstructionSite Managerwill be a relentless advocate for managingsafe delivery of the project at the quality expectations. The DCD ConstructionSite Manager, Legal, Project Engineering,the corporate vision and goals for the Project.In addition, this position willbe responsible forcoordinating and reviewing contractor/vendor performanceto cash flow and budget summaries and will clarify those reports in presentations to the delivery and executive chain. Other responsibilities include oversight and project controls, Project Expenditure Request, Professional Services Request, Change Orders, Pay Applications, etc.

Required Qualifications

Required Skills:years of progressive responsibility inconductor, Oil-gas,Bio-Pharmaceutical or other large scale construction projects• Degrees and/or professional licenses inProject Management and Leadership• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skillsand quickly resolve issues gating project progression• Experienceleading and drivinglarge multi-faceted project, including Safety Management, Quality Management, Risk ManagementContract ManagementProject Controlsand experience in Fabrication facilitiesStrong ain order tomanage projects predictably in Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule and Risk Management, and positively

  • Bachelor’s degree inEngineering, Construction Project Management,Contract Managementor Construction Management.

Responsibilities:

  2. Provide direct oversight of the Construction Managers within the Metro and overall team to ensure that the projects are delivered to expectations

Responsible forLeadership across multiple campuses for

  1. Create andmaintainbest practices toidentifyand incorporate cost-effective solutions.3. Manage GC(s) and vendor performance along with their integration with internal partners to ensureon time and on budget project delivery.4. Drive deployment of solutions that can be socialized globally acrossEPCprojects.5. Facilitate decision-making to drivetimelysolutions, schedules, and manage change asrequired.6. Apply influence, strategies, and negotiation skills toidentifyoptions and recommend solutionsto meet project delivery expectations.Communication:1.Provide the project with a single point of contact for development and delivery.2.Regularly reviews cost and KPI metrics, invoices, process/policy communications to client partners.3. Coordinate meetings and activities of vendors, cost managers, and integration of lessons learned.4.Attendscheduled owner/architect/contractor (OAC) and other project meetings, andreportas necessary.5. Report Project Progress on scope, schedule, and budget weekly or asrequired.6. Provide weekly project status reporting to DCD standards.Vendor Management and contract compliance:1. Provide Vendor oversight and performance management by walking the construction sites daily.2. Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP’s), PER’s, and other project approval tools & templates.3. Review and approval of vendor scope of work, and design review of site and building plans.4. Validate vendor pay-application and invoice review and approval.5. Manage compliance with prior audit results and recommendations.
