Global Equities Operations Transformation

As a Program Manager for Global Equities Operations Cross-LOB Initiatives, you'll manage strategic and tactical projects/programs, and provide analytical, reporting, communications, and change management support for Equities Operations which includes senior management. Projects may include digitization/automation, operational efficiency, regulatory, control, business resiliency and/or people initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of projects/programs, partnering closely with teams across Operations, Technology, Sales & Trading, Data & Analytics, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, and other corporate functions. This will include project planning and analysis, resource management, driving or overseeing project execution, and reporting of status to senior management.
  • Manage and develop the local BA Equities Operations Transformation team project managers; optimize flexibility of resource management and the opportunities for PMs to work on diverse projects. Ensure our people have well-defined platform roles to support promotion and career development potential. Ensure appropriate distribution of talent and experience across our book of work.
  • Partner with Business, Tech and Ops leads to create a coordinated strategy and investment plan to achieve agreed vision and architecture to best support the business and achieve stated goals.
  • Actively influence change in the industry either facing off to trade associations or regulators, to achieve the best regulatory outcome to protect our clients and the Firm.
  • Leverage business knowledge and technical expertise to challenge assumptions and operating models to continuously ensure a strong, effective control environment including managing risks.
  • Conduct data collection, data analysis, and synthesis to develop recommendations for management or to inform management decisions for our major strategic programs.
  • Leverage the latest digital tools and technologies to support development of scalable, leading-edge solutions collaborating with our Innovation team.
  • Design and documentation of organizational and operational processes to support program execution
  • Lead problem solving and data driven decision making inclusive of process design, re-engineering, and target state modeling

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Extensive project/program management experience required
  • Markets or other related financial services experience preferred ; experience in an operations and knowledge of industry regulations is a plus
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentations skills targeting various stakeholders and senior management
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business problems
  • Strong data analysis skills, including analysis of operational, process, and financial data
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • End-to-end project management experience, including scoping, business case development, implementation, results measurement, and change management
  • Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
  • Experience with emerging technologies and the latest digital tools is a plus
  • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals
  • Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives.
