JOB DESCRIPTION

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll be traveling between our Montreal office location and the client project site. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering operations, contributing to the successful delivery of a new multi-million dollar project and the overall growth of our business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and support engineering activities, ensuring timely delivery of engineering deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment on project requirements
  • Lead project planning and scheduling, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks or issues
  • Support engineering teams in resolving technical challenges and ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Coordinate, work with other trades/ customers/consultants and escalate as needed to resolve engineering queries and request for information needed
  • Review engineering team generated designs of Fire Alarm/ Security systems to meet quality and customer specified objectives
  • Conduct review meetings between design team, Honeywell subcontractors and consultants / other trades and help resolve queries
  • Facilitate design and drawings approval from consultants
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of engineering activities

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Completion of an Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Technician college program or university degree
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English, both verbal and written
  • Experience in coordinating engineering activities or projects
  • 5+ years of experience in generating solutions and / or engineering and or commissioning of Building Automation Systems / Fire Alarm / Security systems
  • Strong organizational, client-facing and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
