In this role, you will…

  • Design and drive a state of the art, agile training curriculum for the Align product portfolio, based on sales employees customized journeys, reducing the speed to proficiency for Align’s LATAM commercial sales and first-line sales leadership teams.
  • Assess, design, develop, implement, and evaluate needs-based training strategy and related programs for first-line sales leadership team (new, existing, and aspiring).
  • Successfully lead a team of trainers ensuring scalable, measurable, repeatable process execution aligned to business need and other training programs where applicable.
  • Work with the Invisalign and iTero Sales Management team to measure skills/competences and knowledges training gaps, establish and implement a Sales Process and messaging playbook that provides a foundation for coaching and development.
  • Influence and partner with commercial leaders in the relevance and importance of trainings to be delivered, optimizing the time spent on training versus the value add to the business.
  • Collaborate with Sales Training’s instructional design team to develop the ideal blend of virtual and instructor led training that can be accessed by internal and external sales teams.
  • Facilitate introductory and ongoing Invisalign and iTero training to LATAM commercial teams based on the required proficiency for their role.
  • Facilitate introductory and ongoing process, initiatives and tools training to LATAM commercial teams based on the required proficiency for their role.
  • Work closely with the Invisalign and iTero Marketing Team to develop effective training for new sales tools and product launches in LATAM.
  • Directs ongoing sales force training requirements and objectives for LATAM sales teams. Ensures timely updates to course curricula to reflect changes in product offerings and LATAM market demands.
  • Co-travel with Align’s commercial teams (Invisalign, iTero, Special Markets) to become an expert in the Align Digitial Platform.
  • Work with Invisalign and iTero Sales & Marketing Management to manage the creation of training programs for LATAM national sales meetings (BR/MX/CALA).
  • Collaborate with the Sales Training Operations team to create an evaluation strategy that monitors and measure training effectiveness.
  • Continuously analyze LATAM sales team performance to evaluate effectiveness of training and design follow-up programs as needed.
  • Manage the implementation, delivery, and consistency of execution (TTT Certifications, etc.) for training programs led by the field-based sales training teams
  • Serves as subject matter expert related to sales training best practices in the digital dental industry and incorporates into US sales training strategies and programs at Align.
  • Influence senior sales leadership, field sales trainers, and training advisory board using knowledge of best practices in principles of adult learning.
  • Manage LATAM Sales training budget and ensure that training initiatives, sales cycle meetings and overall program are effective and efficient.

In this role, you’ll need …

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, advanced degree in science or business is preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years sales and/or training experience.
  • Prior experience leading and managing a team.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical/medical devices sales training preferred.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication.
  • Strong presentation/analytical skills. Comprehension of financial reports, documents and statements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple, conflicting projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership, ability to motivate others and influence without authority.
  • Creative, self-motivated, team player, customer focused.
  • Excellent customer-centric communication skills.
  • Proactive with sharing and developing new ideas.
  • Self-starter that needs minimal supervision.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to work in São Paulo, Brazil Office.
  • Travel time required (~20% per quarter).
