Responsible for leading and/or participating in teams comprised of BMC, partner and customer resources at client sites to deliver required outcomes and produce additional business with BMC clients.
Provide L2/L3 operational support on BMC Helix Continuous optimisation (BHCO) or TrueSight Capacity Optimisation (TSCO) as per agreed SLAs
Administer and maintain BMC Helix Continuous Optimization (BHCO)/ TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) Solution. Ensure the platforms are running efficiently, with optimal performance and availability.
Maintain BHOM / TSOM Application platform availability as per agreed availability commitment.
Configure and customize BMC solutions to meet client-specific requirements. Implement and adjust settings to optimize capacity management and performance monitoring.
Monitor and analyze system capacity and performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to clients on capacity planning and resource allocation to prevent over-provisioning and under-utilization.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to BMC Helix Continuous Optimization and TrueSight Capacity Optimization applications. Provide technical support to address complex problems and ensure minimal disruption to services.
Continuously monitor system performance and capacity metrics. Identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues. Implement corrective actions to maintain system stability and performance.
Oversee the integration of BMC solutions with other systems and third-party applications. Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between systems.
Implement minor upgrade, patches, and new features for BMC solutions, ensuring updates are deployed with minimal impact on ongoing operations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, troubleshooting steps, and resolution procedures. Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders on BMC solutions. Share best practices and help clients maximize the value of their capacity management tools.
Adhere to industry best practices and standards, including ITIL, for capacity management and system administration. Ensure compliance with internal policies and client agreements.
Assist customer drive adoption of the monitoring solution across the environments
Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality with focus on continuous improvement
Skills/Experience:
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
Should have 5-10 years of IT experience.
Should have worked in Applications Managed Services and Consulting Services environment
Extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of BMC Helix Continuous optimization (BHCO) or TrueSight Capacity Optimization (TSCO) Application Support, Administration, Integrations and, Customizations
Excellent in troubleshooting BHCO/ TSCO applications, integrations, customizations.
Extensive experience maintaining BHCO/ TSCO within a high distributed complex environment.
Excellent organization and communication (both written and oral) skills
Able to work both autonomously and in teams
Self-starter and good decision-making skills
Strong analytical skills with a methodical approach to fault resolution
Experience on Windows/UNIX/LINUX operating systems and ITIL framework is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Cloud Technologies, networking, and database concepts
Well Organized with a positive attitude, ability to work in customer facing env & should be able to communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
