What You'll Do
- Identify, evaluate, and lead strategic partnership opportunities that unlock new revenue streams, expand Uber’s product capabilities, or improve core operations.
- Lead the full partnership lifecycle - from sourcing and business case development through to complex negotiations, contracting, implementation, and long-term management.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams (including Ops, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing), ensuring alignment between partnership strategies and Uber’s broader business objectives.
- Develop and present robust business models, market assessments, and competitor insights to guide decision-making at the leadership level.
- Serve as a key point of contact for executive stakeholders (internal and external), driving alignment, influencing direction, and representing Uber’s long-term strategic vision.
- Collaborate with the global BD and Corp Dev teams to ensure regional priorities are reflected in global initiatives, and vice versa.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience leading complex partnership or business development efforts in high-growth or matrixed environments (e.g., tech, consulting, financial services).
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels, including C-suite.
- Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving abilities; able to turn ambiguity into clear strategies and execution plans.
- High ownership mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, capable of independently managing high-stakes relationships and projects.
- Comfortable engaging with legal and technical discussions, with a working understanding of contracts, data integrations, and product implications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multi-stakeholder negotiations involving commercial, legal, technical, and operational dimensions.
- Familiarity with the LatAm market landscape and relevant regulatory environments, especially within the mobility, delivery, fintech, or logistics sectors.
- Track record of managing partnerships that delivered measurable impact to business growth or operational efficiency.
- Executive maturity to interact with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, often serving as the public face of strategic initiatives.
